Many of us are well versed with the monotonous life that comes complimentary with our 9 to 5 jobs. But no matter what we feel our work lives have become, we often come across these tiny moments of delight, maybe a silly prank on a co-worker, or a funny goof up in a presentation, maybe a walk around the office with your coworker-friend to vent out all your frustration, its these tiny moments of joy that help us keep moving forward, teach us to laugh at our mistakes and.. just take it easy.
Today, we have 2 special guests who will take us on a delightful journey of their work life, from a small McDonalds in 1980’s London to the soaring towers of New York’s Wall Street. With stories both funny and poignant, we will try to see what truly gives meaning to the work we do, and figure out what’s the secret behind choosing what works best for you.
Subu is a veteran designer who started his career as an illustrator for the Times of India and later co-founded his own design agency Bread, Butter & Jam. In between jobs, Subu has also worked at a McDonald’s in London and as a receptionist in YMCA!
Srikanth is an IITMadras and Duke alumni who worked at Wall Street and later co-founded one of the pioneer e-commerce startups in India.
Our co-host for the night ( and a co-producer of the show) Monica is a recent graduate currently working in a non-profit in Bangalore, which is also her very first job!
